It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but I need to catch up on some things… Here are some photos from a weekend visit to the Grand Canyon.
We spent one day hiking the South Kaibab – Tonto – Bright Angel Trails (a 15 mile hike). It was pretty with the snow along the rim, but a little slippery with the snow and ice for the first mile or two down the South Kaibab/Bright Angel Trails.
The following day, we were planning to do the Grandview Trail to Horseshoe Mesa, but the trail was less-maintained and seemed pretty icy at the trailhead, so we decided to play tourist for the day, stopping along some of the viewpoints before driving back to Phoenix.
